For the lucky people who reside near the Apple Store, they have rejoiced the benefits of convenient and quick services of iPhone repair long enough. But now, with their house call repair service, every iPhone can benefit from it. One of its authorized service providers will come to your home and repair your device. Macrumors spotted a scheme where a technician comes to your house to do necessary repairs like maintaining a cracked screen. Sadly, there’s no clarity if they repair the device at home or back in their facility. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t worry as trusty technicians will repair your iPhone screen.

Many iPhone users aren’t aware of this repair option as Apple added this option in their services without any announcement. Although this repair service is available in only limited locations, it will probably expand shortly. You can check out Apple’s support site where now you’ll see an online repair option with addition to the existing in-store and mail-in services. Apple’s support page reads, “In Selected locations, on-site service may be available.”

What is the coverage of the online repair services?

To facilitate this service, Apple has partnered with Go Tech Services, and it does not have an online presence out of this particular Apple Support website. Because of this default, it’s impossible to know it’s coverage in the US. Macrumors confirms it’s availability in six cities of the US, like Houston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. However, this repair service was limited to only certain kinds of repairs. This particular service applies to iPhone screen repairs and not on devices like iMacs. Similarly, other types of iPhone repairs like battery replacement do not fall under their repairing services. And remember, it’s not free of cost as they charge some amount for “an on-site visit fee.”
