- Costly
- Might be too big for your room
The catch
This PC case brandishes a smoked tempered glass. It can even accommodate an E-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboard at the same time; plus other cool features we already listed above. It makes the Corsair Obsidian 1000D the big bully of cases in the market today. But the price point is quite jaw-dropping. If you’re on a budget, look away.

Thermaltake Level 20 – Biggest PC Case for 2019
If you want to go to the extreme and get a massive full tower case on steroids. The Thermaltake Level 20 will embarrass you with space and its size.

The smart features of the Thermaltake Level 20 are what’ll give you the most joy if you decide to own this PC Case. You can voice-control what happens on your Unit with Amazon’s Alexa. That’s if you have one.
The chassis of this PC Case is nothing short of remarkable. When we looked at it, we were impressed with the triple-chamber design, adorned with tempered glass – and with plenty of space for ventilation.
Intimidating and monstrous, if you buy the Thermaltake Level 20 you’ll need plenty of room to house this gigantic PC case.
- Nice design
- Great cooling
- Built for durability
- Very expensive
- Massive size
The catch
By a long shot, the Thermaltake Level 20 is one of the biggest Full Tower cases for 2019. The features it packs are stunning, to say the least. Albeit, what could stand between you and owning one of these is the huge price.
Phanteks Enthoo Pro – Best Budget PC Case
The Phanteks Enthoo Pro is the most affordable PC Case for value you’ll find in 2019.
If you’re overly particular about design, you may not be too keen on buying this case. They made it with a lot of plastic and a brush of aluminum but there isn’t really any flamboyance to talk about here. The features aren’t bad though…
Key Features
- Removable dust filters
- Tools for cable management
- Motherboard support: Extended ATX, ATX, Micro ATX, SSI EEB
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360m, 420mm
- Drive Bays: 7 x 2.5” SSDs; 6 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0
This Phanteks PC case is one of the easiest to install – no hassle whatsoever to set it up. Despite not being a newbie in the market, the Enthoo Pro remains a highly sought-after Case because of the price and value offering. You’ll scarcely find a case that helps you manage cables efficiently like this one.
The interior design also shows some craftiness from Phateks – they set it up in such a way, your HDDs smartly hidden from view.
The Phanteks Enthoo Pro comes with a 200mm and 140mm fan preinstalled in the front and rear panel respectively. The cooling option doesn’t stop there. The unit allows you to install up to 420mm radiator to keep temperatures down.
- Budget-friendly
- Spacious
- Lots of drive bays
- Excellent cable management
- Poor design
The catch
Despite the brand’s lack of popularity, the Phanteks Enthoo Pro is selling fast because of the nice features it offers at such an affordable price. But the design leaves a lot to be desired. Agreeably, that’s a fair piece to pay for a budget PC case.
Thermaltake View 71 – Best Mid-Range Full Tower Case
The Thermaltake View Series has been widely discussed by enthusiasts since last year. We decided to talk about one of the best in Thermaltake’s admirable lineup of Full Tower cases – the Thermaltake View 71.
The Thermaltake View 71 is arguably the best designed from the View Series cases. This one comes with a lot of tempered glass, plus RGB lit fans keeping your unit glowing and attractive. Check out the features.
Key Features
- In-built RGB LED fans
- Four sided 5mm-thick Tempered glass panel
- Three Preinstalled 140mm RGB LED Riing fans
- Max CPU Cooler height: 190mm
- Motherboard support: Extended ATX, ATX, Micro ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360m, 420mm
- Drive Bays: 6 x 2.5”; 3 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0
If you’re a fan of tempered glass PC cases, you should seriously consider buying the Thermaltake View 71. This case fronts a lot of tempered glass. It doesn’t lack cool stuffs like RGB lighting, and with AIO custom loop and Radiator support, it allows for water cooling – if you’re an ardent overclocker.
Thankfully [because of its fragile build], the tempered glass doors of this case can swing open when you need something taken out or in. And there’s a vertical GPU mount for you.
- Ravish design
- Expandable
- Good value for money
- Highly modular
- Compact – Not the most spacious
- Lots of glass – fragile
The catch
The Thermaltake View 71 is beautiful and will bring plenty of life to your PC exterior. But it’s fragile. Still, for a price of under $200 you get a modern PC Case that adequately shields and cools down your PC. You just have to be careful when handling it.
Best Mid Tower Cases of 2019
Depending on the components you have, you may not need to spend so much on buying a Full Tower PC Case in 2019. Instead, what you need is a Mid Tower case with the capacity to house your components.
Are you looking for the best Mid Tower cases in 2019? Check out the following options…
Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic – the Best Mid Tower Case for 2019
Like we said earlier, a Mid Tower case can solve your problems and house all your components if you look closely. Especially if you seek out a case with enough drive bays and good expandability. The Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic is one with all these capabilities.
The Lian-Li PC-011 is a solid case, with tempered glass adorning the sliding panels and synapse lighting brightening up the case.
Key Features
- Tempered glass and aluminum front panel
- Synapse compatible lighting
- Motherboard support: Extended ATX, ATX, Mini-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360m,
- Drive Bays: 6 x 2.5”; 3 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm HD Audio/Mic, 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0
You can use liquid cooling on the Lian-Li PC-011. Three of the panels are removable to allow for easy placing of your components.
You can customize the lighting, in this case, using Lian’s Synapse 3 software. This PC Case can truly be very beautiful if you can set it up nicely.
In terms of rooms inside, this is one of the most spacious mid-tower cases in the market right now.
- Plenty of room inside
- Good value for money
- Good number of drive bays
- Not the easiest PC case to set up [almost illegible instruction manual]
The catch
The only hassle you’re guaranteed to face with this unit is in setting it up. The instruction manual that comes with it doesn’t really help. But if you’ve built a PC Case before, you can easily do it. If not, you’ll likely need help from a technician. Overall, this is a nice PC case you won’t regret owning it.
Corsair Obsidian 500D SE – Best Design
How will you like to own a Mid Tower case with all the robustness of RGB lighting and the flamboyance of a Full Tower case. That’s exactly what the Corsair Obsidian 500D SE brings to the table.
We saw some of these features in the Obsidian 1000D [Full Tower] and it’s not surprising why it easily tops our list. The Obsidian 500D SE isn’t too far behind in its Mid Tower category. Now to what it offers…
Key Features
- Smoked Tempered glass slide doors with aluminum trim
- RGB lighting
- Motherboard support: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360m,
- Drive Bays: 3 x 2.5”; 2 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm HD Audio/Mic, 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0
The first thing about the Corsair Obsidian 500D SE is its flashiness. Enthusiasts who like flair will certainly buy this case all day long.
Another thing with this case is that it offers enough support for water-cooling. And you get three in-built RGB LED fans that bring color to your case when they become fully functional.
We must add that the Corsair Obsidian 500D doesn’t have RGB lighting. The Obsidian 500D SE does, and it cost more. It’s up to you to make a choice.
- Easy to install
- Impressive cooling
- Nice design
- Not the best cable management
- Pricey
The catch
The Corsair Obsidian 500D SE is a nice PC Case with a smart design thanks to those smoked tempered glass. It even offers water cooling. But this case is quite pricey. We don’t understand why Corsair keeps hiking the price of their cases after minimal improvement.
Cooler Master MasterCase H500P – Best Cooling
The Cooler Master MasterCase H500P has a dashing design, but what’s even more attractive is the space and cooling this case offers.
Unlike most Mid Tower cases that tend to sacrifice airflow for bays and compartments, the MasterCase H500P offers both and a lot more…
Key Features
- Tinted Tempered glass slide panel
- RGB lighting
- Motherboard support: E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360m,
- Drive Bays: 3 x 2.5”; 2 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0
The H500P Mesh comes with two built-in 200mm RGB LED fans that contribute massively to the airflow you’ll enjoy with this case. The way the vents are positioned help for easy circulation of air around the system.
Because it’s a big case, the internal layout is carefully setup to provide space for DIY-ers with a lot of components and ideas on their arsenal.
This PC case is fully modular, with modern adjustments, two PCIe slots and space for a radiator as big as 360mm.
- So much space for a mid-Tower case
- Exquisite design
- Good airflow and water-cooling ready
- Pricey
- No dust filters
The catch
The Cooler Master MasterCase H500P is so spacious, it can pass for a Full Tower Case. The case is still well-designed and sports nearly everything you’ll like to see in a 2019 PC case. We say ‘nearly’ because it doesn’t have magnetic dust filters, which isn’t too ideal. But with the airflow, you won’t need to clean it too often.
Nanoxia Deep Silence 3 – Big and Silent Mid-Tower PC Case
If you want your PC or gaming rig to operate silently, then you need to buy a case that helps it do that effectively [not a cardboard box]. We couldn’t find a better case for that than the Deep Silence 3 from Nanoxia.
We’ve seen a few big-sized Mid Tower Cases here and the Deep Silence 3 is one of those. Who knew you could get a big case that can be so silent.
Key Features
- Space for full size GPU
- RGB lighting
- Motherboard support: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm
- Drive Bays: 3 x 2.5”; 2 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0
The Nanoxia Deep Silence 3 isn’t the flashiest case you can buy. But from the features, you can see it packs a powerful punch for its form factor.
This case comes with 8 modular drive cages with thick metalwork and other materials that help keep sound at a minimum.
The silence of this case doesn’t come at the expense of airflow. The Deep Silence 3 allows you to install six 120mm fans. It even has a removable dust filter.
- Easy to setup
- Lots of room for upgrade
- Silent
- Sturdy build
The catch
The Nanoxia Deep Silence 3 doesn’t sport the best design, tempered glass or RGB LEDs. But it’s the quietest PC case on this list. And you can get it for a fair price too. In terms of space, it’s up there among the biggest Mid Tower PC Cases around. You can even fit the longest GPUs into this case comfortably.
Corsair Carbide 275R – Minimalist Mid Tower Case
The all-white finish of the Corsair Carbide 275R case and the edge-to-edge sliding glass window made it look quite different from any other we saw.
The interior is spacious and great for airflow. And it has some good features too.
Key Features
- Built-in cable routing
- Motherboard support: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360mm
- Drive Bays: 3 x 2.5”; 2 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 2 x USB 3.0
The Corsair Carbide 275R is one of the new entrants into the market and its one of the best in terms of airflow and space. It weighs just 16 pounds – which makes it the lightest case we saw during our review.
There’s very little branding on this PC case; you’ll have to look closely at the front panel to see the only logo on the case.
With regards to water-cooling, you can comfortably house a 360mm radiator on this PC case. To keep the case even cooler, there’s support for up to six 120mm fans.
- Nice minimalist design
- Superb cooling support and airflow
- Competitive price
- Good cable management
- First Corsair case we didn’t see without RGB LEDs
The catch
The Corsair Carbide 275R is easy on the eye, and provides space for your drives and components. Based on the features, this PC case is super value for money.

We’ve looked at Full Tower and Mid Tower PC cases. But we know some of you guys might be keen on getting something compact and less pricey for your PC. If that’s true for you, kindly read every bit of the next few reviews we have here.
NZXT H400i – Best Mini Tower PC Case for 2019
The NZXT H400i is the best Mini Tower PC case we saw. It comes with a tempered glass panel and a steel body.
There’s no debate about the brilliance of the design you get with the NZXT H400i.

- Tempered glass panel
- Cable management system
- Three pre-installed Aer F120mm fans

- Impressive design
- Spacious for its form factor
- Good thermal performance
- Expensive
- No USB-C ports
- A little noisy at full fan speed
The catch
The Overall performance of the NZXT H400i is excellent. The design is superb and the user is given RGB and fan control. If this Mini Tower case falls within your budget, buy it. Be warned though, it’s not cheap.
Corsair Crystal 280X RGB – Most Compact Mini Tower PC Case
Despite the small form-factor of the Corsair Crystal 280X, this is one case that combines both attractiveness and performance.
The Crystal 280X case features RGB LED lighting and supports up to six 120mm fans for better airflow. Let’s look at some of the other features.
Key Features
- PSU dust filters
- RGB LED lighting
- Three tempered glass panels
- Dual-chamber internal layout
- Motherboard support: Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Radiator support: 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm
- Drive Bays: 3 x 2.5”; 2 x 3.5” HDDs
- I/O Ports: 1 x 3.5mm Audio/Mic, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1
This all-black Corsair offers good cable management. Its body is made mostly of plastic and steel, although the panels are of tempered glass.
There’s impressive airflow into this case so it doesn’t overheat if you don’t overclock. Helping to improve airflow are two 120/140mm fans.
You can see the input/output ports it has. Unfortunately it doesn’t offer any USB 3.1 Type-C port.
The glass panels don’t have locating pins holding them so they could easily be dropped when being removed. We just think this case is very fragile.
- Easy to set up
- Beautiful compact design
- Good price
- Pricey
- Not the best Thermal Performance
- Fragile
The catch
The Corsair Crystal 280X is well-built case; it sports a nice design and features RGB LED lighting and tempered glass. The drawback is the price and how fragile it is. If you want a small, compact and flashy Mini Tower case, you should buy it.
In Win A1 – Best Design
Designed in “modern Scandinavian style” according to In Win, the In Win A1 is clearly the best designed Mid Tower case in 2019.
The case sports a white exterior, with a black interior. There’s a tempered glass slide panel with two extremely easy-to-use plastic snaps on the top. You can go for the black if you don’t fancy the white.

The In Win A1 doesn’t come with any pre-installed fans, but it has up to six 120mm fan slots.
There is an excellent combination of materials for this case. It can fit a 160mm CPU cooler.
- Brilliant designed
- Tempered glass panel
- No pre-installed fans
- No 3.5-inch drive bays
The catch
The In Win A1 is very compact. It uses a wireless Qi charger and sports a lavish design with a perfect blend of materials. The price of this PC is good for the value it offers. But it’s very small – be sure it’s what you want before buying.
BitFenix Prodigy Arctic – Most Portable PC Case
The BitFenix Prodigy Arctic has been around for a while, but it remains one of the best Mini Tower Cases in 2019.

The catch
In terms of portability, the BitFenix Prodigy Arctic is second to none. However, it doesn’t have slide windows which means it’s not the best computer Case for airflow. Besides that, this is a nice case that performs excellently for its form factor. And it comes at a good price.
How to buy the best PC Case in 2019
There are a few things you should know before you head out to buy a PC Case.
Firstly, you should have at least a faint idea of what you want. However, you’ll discover that most PC cases offer nearly the same features.
So what should you look out for in a PC case?
Form factor: We broke down our list pretty nicely to highlight the different PC cases available in each form factor. If your motherboard is an ATX or E-ATX, and you have a full-size GPU, you should totally buy a Full Tower PC Case.
A Mid Tower case is the middle-ground in terms of how much you can expand. Some big mid tower cases can accommodate E-ATX and ATX motherboard. But you have to look at the features closely before buying.
Mini-Tower cases are best for small PCs with Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboards. If you have a long graphics card then it’ll be fool-hardy to buy a Mini Tower case.
Future Upgrades: You should look to buy a PC Case with room for upgrades and expandability. For PC builders, upgrades are inevitable, so you should have that in mind when buying a case.
Design and Features: Some PC cases are better designed than others. This is also true for features. The better the design and the more the features the higher the price – so you should have an eye on your budget when choosing a flamboyant case.
Some of the features you should check for includes, Magnetic dust filters, Drive Bays and mounting points, fan and radiator supports, I/O Ports like USB 3.1 and USB Type-C, Airflow and noise.
Final thoughts
You made it here. That’s really loyal of you.
For those of you who scanned through, we’ve carefully reviewed the best computer cases for 2019.
We looked at five Full Tower and Mid Tower PC cases. Then we reviewed four Mini Tower PC cases.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find better PC cases in the market. Nevertheless, we’ll like to know what you think about this review. Which PC Case would you buy?
