Samsung Galaxy S10 won’t have 5G Modem

With just days after the revelation of their Galaxy A8s, Samsung has revealed few details about their next flagship smartphone, Galaxy S10.

According to Gizmodo UK, Samsung Galaxy S10 will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2019, Barcelona event on the last week of February next year.

S10 will follow A8s with the Infinity-O display. With this new display, you get more active screen area from edge to edge. That top bezel area with a front facing camera and a company logo you see on a typical smartphone will be gone with S10. The display screen is seamless except for a small cutout on the top corner for the front camera.

While the regular curved screen version with a 6.1-inch display with 128GB storage will cost £799. You could get the curved version with 512GB storage for £999. Samsung and Verizon recently announced that they will be bringing the first 5G phone in 2019. However, for that you will have to wait a little longer as none of the S10 versions will have the 5G capability. Samsung may have 5G data version in the Q2 2019 update of S10.
