When the Dock does not work, both the display and USB port fails to respond, and the green LED on the corner does not light up. First, restart both the Dock and the Switch and connect the two. Now check the Switch dock for a green LED.
If the LED is on, the issue is likely with the ports or configurations. If the LED does not turn on, remove and reconnect all the cables that go into your Dock.
If that does not work, you might want to power cycle the Switch.
Power Cycle the Switch
